• Do use maps for the World of Balance and the second world, print them out if necessary (they came with the game). Making maps is recommended for Kefka's Tower and Floating Continent. • Grab the Atma Weapon at the Sealed Gate, and use StrategyWiki for anything else you should do around and immediately after that time, because at some point things change and many things are inaccessible. • At the Floating Continent, wait for Shadow and not jump onto the BlackJack until he comes. • Saving [spoiler character, you'll know when you get there]'s life is possible with fish, but it's difficult and doesn't provide any actual in-game bonuses. I tried, but he died. • The Cursed Shield will eventually uncurse itself after winning 255 battles or so equipped on a character (and they must not die in said battles). Use ___ to avoid status ailments, and oh, the Cursed Ring will not uncurse. • Go ahead and save Mog. If you think it's funny to not rescue him, be sure not to save after you do so. When you do rescue him, take him through the Serpent Trench to learn Water Rondo, since you'll never learn it in the second world. • Setzer is pretty useless, I wouldn't recommend him in Kefka's Tower. I also don't use Relm, she's weak and the Sketch command will sometimes crash the game. • Before you finish the game, try to teach Ultima to everyone (via Ragnarok) and the Phoenix life/cure ailments (via Phoenix) • When you find Gogo, use him with Sabin's Blitzes. Also, don't seek him out until your party is complete and fairly strong. • Don't attempt to tackle the dragons until you have your original party back and sufficiently leveled up.
