Untitled Goose Game is my latest addition to the games I've played recently. Mostly, it reminds me of Katamari Damacy in a lot of ways--easy to get into with some harder goals, stylized art and music style with no outlines, and a variety of items to pick up and manipulate. However, it's not an especially long game, and some of the goals are more frustrating than clever, plus it really isn't the same draw as Katamari Damacy.

There is, of course, a bit of whimsy, with the game retaining its working title to publication (Wikipedia says the developers came up with "Some Like it Honk" as an alternate title). It's no "Green & Pissed" (DOOM) but there you go. There's also no game over, despite being a "horrible goose", not one of the villagers in the quaint British hamlet you wonder around in decides to grab you, wring your neck, and serve you up with a nice cider gravy and onions. At least Katamari Damacy had a fail state...and speaking of which, they recently came out with a port of We Love Katamari...maybe I should just play Katamari Damacy again.
