I've written up a review for SimTower: The Official Strategy Guide here. There are some things I'd like to share, however.

WHAT THE ELEVATOR CHART MEANS

The book recommends keeping waiting car response at "1" and the button set at the second from the left on both Weekday and Weekend.

HOW MUCH SPACE THINGS TAKE UP

This chart is very similar to what I did for Yoot Tower...

CYCLING THROUGH

* Fast food cycles through Japanese Soba, Chinese Cafe, Hamburger Stand, Ice Cream, and Coffee Shop
* Restaurant cycles through English Pub, French Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant, Sushi Bar, and Steak House.
* Shop cycles through Mens Clothing, Pet Store, Flower Shop, Book Store, Drug Store, Boutique, Electronics, Bank, Hail Salon, Post Office, and Sports Gear (11 total)
* Casual Friends, Dino Wars, The Making of a Star, Love in N.Y., Waikiki Moon, My Man of War, and Christmas for Both of Us are the "Latest Movies", Fear of Shark Teeth, Revenge of the Big Spider, Northwest Romance, Samurai Cop, Big Wave, and Farewell to Morocco are the "Classics". I believe if you place the Cinema, it will start with Fear of Shark Teeth and alternate between classics and the latest.

THINGS YOU CANNOT DEMOLISH

This isn't explicitly covered in the book, but the manual says there are a few things you can't demolish when in fact you can (recycling centers and movie theaters). The only things that can't be demolished are the following:

* Housekeeping
* Security
* Lobbies and skylobbies
* Extra space (can't shrink your tower)
* The metro station
* The cathedral
