Good Day

One of the older Albertsons brands lost in the whole SuperValu/Safeway shuffle was Good Day, a brand used for (what I previously thought was) low-end dairy products. I had remembered from my youth the big tubs of store-brand vanilla ice cream used for things like events (you know the the type) and visiting an Albertsons in 2015 where Good Day was being phased out for Pantry Essentials only confirmed what I thought I knew.

However, in looking at old ads, it seemed to be used for a variety of items, food and non-food alike, from macaroni and cheese to bleach. In many ways, I suppose it was the equivalent to Hill Country Fare, a lower-end brand that H-E-B used.
