NOTES

- The music for the Hawaii scenario goes from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- In the Hawaii scenario, you can find a treasure (the one I found was for $3M, can vary) but you have to place something down there to find it, not just empty walls.
- At least in the Hawaii scenario, the Large Elevator, like the SimTower version, has a stop every 15 floors. However, partially because there are no Sky Lobbies, you can adjust which floors the Large Elevator stops at. Every floor, if you'd like.
- One bug that is in both versions (Mac and PC) is that after a 100 or so hotel rooms, the Front Desk won't automatically pick them up anymore, and they'll sit vacant. I learned my lesson when I had several new hotel rooms that never got occupied while I struggled to make ends to meet. Once the hotel rooms got a new Front Desk, money wasn't that much of a problem anymore.
- In SimTower, if your office tenants ever left, no problem--just lower the rent to the lowest possible choice and they'll not only come back but stay. Not so much in Tokyo, if they leave, that's it--no rent fiddling will be needed because at that point, it's essentially the "Roach of Doom" for those offices. You have to rebuild them, hopefully fix whatever problem caused them to leave in the first place.
- You can add time services to the subway station for $500k. This was not mentioned in "Kirinn Bunnylin"'s FAQ. The first one causes it to go from "Local Station" to "Express Station". The third phase is "Limited Express Station", fourth is "Terminal Station".
- Don't be surprised if your income in Tokyo gyrates wildly between making -$500k overnight then turning a small profit before the next day. As long as you make money consistently, it's all good.
- Movies in the main Movie Theater will end on their own, after about five months. The movies also have slightly different costs.
- At the beginning of the day, the profits for each business will reset, so a movie theater might be failing in the morning (red eval), and make profits (blue eval) by the evening.
- Press and hold any tenant button in the menu for a brief description and price of the item.
- You WILL have to add a Power Room at some point but you won't know when. Better just place it before your tower gets evacuated due to power overuse and you lose business.
- It's probably better to pay the terrorist off rather than evacuate the tower, even if security finds the bomb, you lose all that business for the day.
