Kroger definitely was one of the stores I had around growing up—the specific store in question is covered at Brazos Buildings & Businesses and I even worked in a different Kroger (very briefly).

		Dead Krogers of Houston - Kroger holds a good part of the Houston-area grocery market but has left a lot of carcasses over time. This is only a partial list.
		The Seabrook Kroger - The Seabrook, Texas Kroger is still a largely intact Greenhouse store, and it is lovely.
